Martial Build: Phase 1

Strength & Conditioning Programme

8 Weeks | 3 Testing Sessions | All Levels

Build a strong, resilient foundation for your martial arts training.

This 8-week plan is designed to complement your striking and grappling, not compete with them. You’ll build:

  • Total-body athletic strength

  • Muscular balance

  • Endurance

-all without interfering with your weekly classes.


🧱 Programme Structure:

The training follows an upper-lower antagonist split, pairing opposing muscle groups for balanced development and recovery.

Weekly Sessions:

  • 🟩 Chest & Back

  • 🟧 Lower Body – Part 1

  • 🟦 Back & Shoulders

  • 🟨 Lower Body – Part 2

  • (Optional) Low-intensity cardio session

This approach supports joint health, functional strength, and injury prevention -perfect for Martial Arts.

About the Coach:

Led by Krisian, a martial arts instructor with over 20 years of experience.

You’ll be training in a supportive environment built around real-world martial arts knowledge and practical application.

Sessions take place at Anytime Fitness Gym, Headington.

This is an 18+ class.

You can request a refund if:

  • It’s within 24 hours of purchase

  • The programme is cancelled before it begins

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Missed sessions or incomplete attendance

  • Removal due to violating club or community conduct guidelines

The organiser reserves the right to remove any participant without refund if their behaviour negatively affects the safety, focus, or experience of others.

I’ve been regularly attending for the past 4 months. Krisian creates a very positive, safe and friendly environment!! I am having a lot of fun and learning a lot. I’ve been coming to these self defense classes for a few weeks and they’ve definitely surpassed my expectations!!
